Yvonne Lau is a Human Resources professional and entrepreneur who grew up working for her dad in a family-run auto body business before spending 18 years working in HR in various industries such as technology, mining, retail, and finance. An immigrant from Asia and the first woman in her family to earn a B.A. from UBC in Vancouver before getting her Global Executive MBA from ie Business School in Madrid, she understands the importance of education and how it could change lives and the world.

She now runs her HR tech company Retainify, a data-driven software that helps her growing roster of clients build cultures of transparency and improve workplace culture one feedback at a time.
