Amy Hu is currently Vice President, Legal, North America at Newmont. She is a trusted advisor to Newmont’s operations in Canada, US and Mexico, and brings pragmatic and creative solutions for operational challenges faced by the company.

She is a Diversity & Inclusion champion, and actively mentors other young women at Newmont’s various mines. Amy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Newmont, she practiced at Stikeman Elliott LLP, an international corporate law firm based in Canada.
