Pragati Wheel is a school in India that was established in 2007. The school site was originally a cow shelter of the local farm. Today, the school provides education to over 250 children, primarily from the farmers and agricultural workers in the river bed of Yamuna in Delhi. The greatest advantage of the school is its location. Functioning from the river bed, it provides close proximity to the living quarters of the families it is benefitting. The mission of the school is to break the cycle of poverty and low self-esteem among the under-privileged children from the farming communities in the region.
