Richard Ojendo is a registered professional civil engineer with more than 25 years of experience in various projects, programs and portfolios development and management. Currently he is a Sustainable Communities Manager at Acacia North Mara Gold Mine. He joined Acacia in 2005 where he has held various roles including Construction Coordinator, Project Engineer, Construction Superintendent, Construction Manager, Project Manager, Business Improvement Manager and Chief Advisor Project Management and Governance. He has a strong passion for reaching many people and touch human lives in different aspects to rekindle hope through various initiatives and programs so as to make a significant difference in the lives of the needy. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, MSc degree in Project Management from Heriot Watt University in Scotland and currently doing his PhD research in Mega Project Management majored in mega projects cost and time performance from Heriot University in Scotland.
